Ok, I didn't see the whole show when I wrote the last one, so forgive me for being totally off. If you haven't seen the whole thing either, beware of spoilers. Lot's and lot's of spoilers. Well, here goes:

Boma is a character from Heat Guy J. His DNA was altered to make him have the face of a beast before Daisuke and J even meet him. He used to be a robber with his buddy, Brad. They wanted to escape to Judoh so no one would catch them. But, unfortunately, they were caught escaping. Brad pretended to be taking the side of the man trying to capture them. Boma fell for it as well. Brad aimed his gun at Boma, but shot the guy sent to take them to prison. With a gun shot wound in his shoulder, Boma shot his best friend. Only after that did he realize that Brad had switched targets. Soon after, Brad died. Boma gets caught and is sent to Magnagalia prison where his DNA is altered. The "Beast Master" tries to brain wash him, but Boma uses his "little sister" named Bunny, to resist. Through the beginning of the series, he's looking for Bunny. When the Beast Master shows up at Judoh looking for him, Boma falls into one of his traps. In a second attempt to brain was Boma, the Beast Master reveals that Boma has no little sister. He used Brad's sister's name (who died many years ago due to illness) to create a shield against the Beast Master's technology. With Daisuke and J's help, he overcomes the Beast Master. Having defeated him, Daisuke offers Boma to work at the Special Unit with him. The man of few words and no trust in anyone, puts his trust in an android and a man that he "just happened to like."
